Before your first nutrition consultation, you will have filled out an extensive intake form asking you all kinds of questions about your diet, lifestyle, health, and more.  Then, in your first nutrition consultation, you will go over that intake form with JJ, and together come up with a plan that will work for you.  JJ understands that every person is unique and that no one diet works for everyone--otherwise, we'd all be on that diet.  Some people process carbohydrates well, others don't, some process certain proteins better than others and this is important to discover for your own body.  In your work with JJ, you'll begin to discover what your body processes best and therefore obtains the most nutrition from.  All diets recommend the elimination or drastic reduction of processed foods and sugars, but after that, it's a game of discovery that JJ is familiar with and can help walk you through so you won't feel alone.  She uses her Master's degree in Complementary and Integrative Medicine and her Graduate Certificate in Nutrition to help you discover what macronutrients, micronutrients, minerals, trace minerals, and more that you may need to bring your body to optimal health.


JJ has tremendous knowledge of nutrition, herbal medicine, pressure point/kinesiology, spiritual insight, practical experience, scientific analysis, Ayurveda, and creativity to move you toward a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle based on your unique and individual needs. It teaches us to see that we can't consider our own health as separate from that of our family, work, society, and planet.
